You Are Blessed To Have Civil War Activity In Your Own Back Yard. Hit That Place Hard!!!

[MCollett]

I have been covering it for about 3 weeks now. The wife is not too happy with all the round dead spots . There seems to have been a lot of activity back there. Our home was built in 1940 and the land is a half acre. I have pulled at least 3 CW bullets (2 Ringer, 3 Ringer and a small round). I also found a General Service button from around WWI and a Standing Libery Quarter. I will post a pic of all the finds in a few. I am pretty sure there is a lot more back there and will continue to hit it as long as the wife allows!

That's a beauty! Congratulations!

AMAZING find! gotta love those relics. hunt that place until nothing beeps!

Here is some more of the finds from my backyard over the last 3 weeks.

There are a lot of different bullets and cartridges. Everything from Civil War, a 1877 Colt .41 cartridge, 10 guage, Winchester 30/30, a 1943 30 cal carbine cartridge and a .45 ACP.

All of the coins were found just off the portch. A badly worn Standing Lib quarter (no date), 56 dime, a Chinese 10 cent piece, a Mississippi tax token and a ton of wheats ranging from 1922 - 1944.

The pic of the misc stuff has 3 old Harriet Hubbard Ayres lipstick cases, the piece of a General service button, a Silver plated spoon, a Jewish pin, a room key and a sweet Dodge Challenger key!

All from my backyard!
