Just 1 of the SC buttons would have made my year , esp, the ones in GREAT Condition.

Also I admire you for getting the Iron Buckles & tools Cleaned up so well; they look great cooked & coated.

That is quite a nice display of treasures you got there. I think that eagle medallion is a saw medallion. I found one just like it and was able to ID it in the what is it section.

That’s a very impressive season my friend! Great variety of finds. I love digging 1812 buttons. I think they have the best designs. The research is everything in my opinion. If you’re not on ground with early finds you sure as hell won’t find any. That jug is my favorite. Just an amazing piece

Thanks Abe. I think I am obsessed with the research-sometimes I stare at plats, maps and documents on the computer screen so much I think I'm going cross-eyed. But it is all worth it when I locate a virgin 18th century home site, and most of the ones I find have never been detected (no cellar holes).
