I've recently obtained three boxes of halves, my first ones in roughly six years. I didn't score much silver, but ended up with more than 150 2023-D Kennedy halves. Wondering if these are worth trying to flip for a slim profit on eBay, either individually or in bulk. It looks like the mintage numbers suddenly went up by about 10x in 2023 after being pretty low since 2002. Has anyone else been seeing huge piles of them in rolls? Any thoughts?

I have had, thus far, four full boxes of 2023 halves this year.

Time for more coffee.

Edit: Make that five.

If the coins are in uncirculated or about uncirculated condition you could put them up on ebay.
If you don't mind the hassle and fees, you should probably squeeze a little money out of it.

I generally don't keep coins unless they are worth greater than 3x face value (like a wheat).
Low mintage NIFCs haven't produced much if the way of rising values, yet.

No. The mint produced 58 million halves last year, and most went into circulation.
