Three weeks ago my new XLT arrived in the mail. I knew a little something about metal detecting but never found much except clad. So far with my XLT I have found
1 1936 Mercury Dime
1 Silver Rosevelt Dime
1 Sterling Ring with large CZ Stones
1 .25 solitare diamond 10k white gold woman's engagement ring, value $300 - $400 - found on a "hunted out" beach
1 large mens 10k gold ring with .16k diamonds, value $150-$200, found on a beach after a rainstorm.
About $5.00 in clad
1 baby ring
2 sterling toe rings
1 skeleton pendant
Haven't exactly paid for the detector yet in finds, but am well on the way. There are lots of detectorists here but apparently good stuff remains to be found.
