About a week ago I hit some excavated dirt mounds and found the Hawkeye. Today, went to my secret spot and found the Champ. Probably not worth much, and not what I was looking for, but I still found it exciting. (I was told how to make the image show correctly, but I can’t seem to get it right; sorry about the upside-down image.)

They both rang up in the high 90s on my Simplex+, solid signal, slight jumps around the thinner parts... for posterity.

Super finds, they would make a great display all cleaned up. No doubt, neighborhood kids played "army" there decades ago. Cheers, Sub 8-)
