Went to one of my nice little after dinner spots, a community center that has just recently been producing some interesting finds for me the past few months. I spent about an hour there and found this Infantry eagle cuff button, I placed it on a dime for size just so ya know, dime may be a bit blurry. Back says -Superior Quality- Also found what seems to be a kids ring, too crusty to tell really. My guess the date of the button is 1840-1860

Great looking button. Don't think that's a finger ring though, at least it doesn't strike me as such.

Superb button buddy! Great spot there....

Keep safe and keep diggin'...

Yeah, that collection is growing too. I know your silver count is getting pretty high this year also. Ive been on a good copper kick for a while now, for some reason its been nothing but large cents and indians for the past 2 months now, I havnt dug a merc, a rosie or a barber for quite some time. checking my notes ive noticed my last silver was an 1876 seated half on 7/9/08, but ive dug 4 LC`s and 12 indian heads since then. I should have some nice year end totals when it comes time to post it all together.

Real nice button. Reminds me when I was a kid 16? I would find buttons, and not know
what they were ( Civil War ) and just through then on the ground in the woods.
I was just looking for bullets..lol live and learn.

You had a great day.....Roadquest
