The other day I found an 18k Cartier ring at the beach and I assumed it was a knock off. Took it t Gennaro Jewelers, and they confirmed that it is 18k and appears to be the real deal! I have to say I don’t understand what makes it so desirable, as it is not very pretty. I also found a silver Pandora charm the same day. The next day I landed another small silver ring at the same spot.

I agree, I think those Cartier rings are totally ugly. They look like a cheap kiddie ring to me. I don't mind finding them though!

It's all about the name. Some people would buy garbage if it had a designer tag. I think they are ugly rings but I wouldn't mind finding one just for the gold content or the re-sale value.

Honestly I think the cartier stuff is ugly as sin. However it's $$$. I found half of one of their 18k love bracelets and sold it for enough to fund most of my honeymoom

No kidding! I went to the Cartier shop and quite frankly, the whole experience was weird. I sent it out to be cleaned. I don’t know what I am going to do with it yet. They said that it has a register number and that if the rightful owner registered it, they will contact them. I would be happy to return it, but I don’t want be accused of stealing it.
