Found a dateless Barber at 3 inches, 1912 Wheat and an art deco makeup compact. Ground was frozen solid! DSCN1227.JPG

No kidding. I thought it was an aluminum washer or a piece of metal painted white when I first saw the edge in the frozen ground! It was at a slight angle and came up as 11-46 on Smartfind screen.I do think the date may be 1903: looks like that from a certain angle. Not my first Barber but my first quarter. Only my 5th silver quarter ever.
What a smoothie! But I'd take it for sure!
