Hello friends! ...A very tough afternoon heat and sun :icon_sunny: ,in just two hours.... salvage a 19th-century bronze bell :laughing7: , a square buckle Military Spanish Falange 1936 and some things more.

Hello hammered .... too much sun this afternoon, but it was worth, these bells are not always complete, but I hunt only two hours to have things to do with the family .. :-\

Hi Oshawaman! :hello: The Bells of this type, take the elegant curve that they now have in the 16th century, and ends its widespread use at the end of the 19th century, were used to call people instead of the electric bell, and carry them in horse carriages, to warn of its passage, were replaced by the invention of the electric bell and the car.
Do not know why so abundant in my area (maybe because it is an area many centuries ago Stables and Horses run through here and fell from the Horses that were carrying ....) :thumbsup:

H, just curious, anything inside center of the bell? Found one similar here, was told I have a "candle snuffer". ffd
