Went to Mayo lake today for some water sports. Took along my BHID to try my luck at a swim area close to the launch. Managed to get away and hunt for 30 minutes and test out the area. Came away with $1.01 in clad, a blue fox inline spinner and the usual trash. Have seen someone detecting this area once before but don't think it has been hit hard as the clad came easily. Area is hard to dig as there is a lot of rock in with the mud. Plan on going back and hitting again when time allows. Water is down about 3 ft or more which should open up additional water that has been previously too deep to hunt.
