Just made an interesting observation last night after entering in my silver finds for the day. Check out my 90% half dollar numbers for this year so far:

Walking Liberty: 7
Franklin: 29
1964 Kennedy: 121

Almost a perfect 4:1 ratio of finding kens to bens (actually 4.17:1), and then finding bens to walkers (actually 4.14:1).

40% to 90% ken is 5.86:1, and 40% to 90% half dollar in general is 4.52:1.

Do these numbers line up with what you guys are finding?

Of course with my low # finds my aren't anywhere close to that- I'm right around 10-1 find for 40%-90%

-------------------------------------
just keep stacking, just keep stacking, stacking stacking stacking

My last 50 90% halves were 25 kens, 20 bens, 5 walkers.

I'm at about 6:1 40s to 90s, at a much lower sample size.

1 Walker, 0 Bens, 8 Kens.

Lifetime my Ben and Walker numbers have ran pretty much the same. 1.16 Bens to Walkers. Less than 2-1 90% Kens to Bens or Walkers. 12.55 40% to 90%.

I haven't kept perfect records, but that is very close.

If I didn't believe it, I'd say unbelievable. Nice totals

Been awhile since I found a 90% half, sad to say

2013 for me so far:

40% = 1,043
1964 = 129
Franklins = 87
Walkers = 76

So for every 5 halves I find, 4 are 40% and 1 is 90%.
