4 days worth of wilver...

[Bertman]

Several older houses are being removed to make way for town houses... Got permission from the land owner and found wilver 4 days in a row... I think I rubbed the "D" mint mark off of the 1916 merc The BQ is only the 4th I have ever found... I just about jumped out of my skin when she popped out of the hole... Also found a Key Fob which reads:
Obverse
"Compliments of The Eastern Torpedo of Ohio Co. Oil Well Torpedoes"

Reverse
"If keys are found return to The Eastern Torpedo of Ohio Co. Toledo, O. - Tulsa Okla."

Manufactured by the W & H Co.

Thanks for looking and HH…

Congrats on the great looking silver, and what a cool wartime artifact, I've never seen anything like that before.

Congratulations on the wilver coinage!

I couldn't resist learning about the oil well torpedos. Apparently it was dangerous work using them. Nitro BABY!

Ya learn something new every day!

Cool find!
