I dug a ditch in my lawn to help out a spring get to the creek, or wherever it wants to go and all I got was Indian artifacts. And a piece of a very old beer bottle.

BTW 100 degrees is not worth it! It was 70 when I dug the ditch.

Hot fun. Frustrating also to dig in that kind of heat and not get the precious metals.

It takes its toll smokey. But I’ll never give up I’m taken it to the water tomorrow:))

Louisiana is like the armpit of America at this point.

Lol.

I went out last night trying to beat the heat. It was still freakin hot... Me and all my clothes were soaked head to toe.
I even had to break out the corn starch this morning, as I was rubbed raw.

As persistent as you are, im sure you will hit a good spot soon.

Yes to the armpit remark. My mom was from Washington Parish. Still have relatives in Bogalusa and Metairie. I'm not fond of the heat. It's steamy here today. Watch out for the water moccasins, they are real, real grumpy. Worse than me even!

Ol’ Mississippi boy had to break out that corn starch! Lol

And your right at 5am this morning it was 87 degrees. My wife directs me directly to the garage to undress because i truly am soaked from head to toe and sprays me down like cattle. It is soooo hot down here.

You need to be using this time while it is hot to work on permissions . I know parks are nice but try going out driving looking around your town . Early morning is a good time to catch old people outside . Pick your oldest part of town and ask that old guy over there if he needs help with anything you trade small jobs for detecting permissions . Mow a lawn or cut some brush .

I ran around my town after a blizzard clearing the plow line for people and got two permissions that way . Think outside the box , Nice guy upfront with no detector in hand and willing to help first goes a long way in my area . Stay cool man .
