4 more hours of clad...

It is starting to bother me that I can find all this clad and the silver coins are not coming in! I am easily hitting dimes at 6-7 inches even with the small coil. I would go for depth with the stock coil but I need the separation. Little longer hunt than my usual 3 hours...went 4 today...81 coins, $5.07 in clad and a watch that came up as penny/dime than quarter.

That watch says Geneva, right? It is a Swatch or imported. Most of those had plastic bands, so I think the metal bands were higher quality. And those look like diamonds in the corners to me, so it might be worth having them looked at. Just a thought.

I have more rings then silver coins as well (7-2). I think it all comes down to research and persistence. I'll keep at it if you will. Next year we will both be putting all these other guys and gals to shame. LOL.

Yes it does say Geneva there are tiny diamonds in it. So you think they could be real? Maybe I will take the time and clean it up and try to find something out about it. It ended up in my usual finds container! Taking out now will clean up tonight..thanks..you never know...

You are reallying creating quite a pile of coins this year. I am currently at 634 coins: I Kennedy Half, 148 clad quarters, 1 silver quarter, 149 dimes, 7wheat pennies, 4Canadian pennies, 250 Lincoln pennies, and 74 nickels. The silver coins are hard to come by here also.

Found a big old silver coin the other day, I just tested it on the DFX and I got a solid 92 and $1 in the display. Maybe that helps/.

Thanks the 92 I would dig but the reading you got when testing the 24k bracelet you found...the 31...I might have skipped...thanks again for info.
