Got out for a short hunt in a park here in Minnesota. The ground is frozen in most spots around here so hunting is getting a bit hard. After a hour and a half i told my detector buddy i am going to start heading back to the car to head out. As i turn around i got a very faint blip of something in the ground. I knew it was small and had a nice tone! Dug the hole approx 8 inches down and pulled out a small clump of dirt from the bottom of the hole. Immediately i saw the edge of a silver coin. Clean it off at home and saw it was a 42 merc. dime. Nothing like ending the season on a high note haha! Just when i was leaving the snow started falling. Happy hunting all.

Nice! It's good to see silver any time! Ya detectors like to sing those high notes on silver! Another find going back to the car! That must be the luckiest place "on the way back to the car" - BTC. Congrats! HH!
