At an antique shop I picked this book up for $5. The seller also had many other rare books dating from the 18th and 19th century, in great condition for hundreds of dollars. I am guessing that due to the condition and content, the seller didn't think it was that important. They marked it as, "$5, Circa 1820, Wood Block, As-Is". Anyways, the book looks extremely familiar to many books from the early 1800's published by John Harris, who published color children's books in the early 1800's. My book only has illustrations on one side of each page, the other side of each side is blank. The first 5-10 pages are also completely blank, along with the last few. Anyways, I am just wondering how old this book is, if 1820's is correct. I attached some photos of various pages, maybe the style of some of the outfits the people are wearing, art style, and items shown may help date it. It would also be nice to know the publisher, and real value.

I don't know anything about the book itself, but based on the clothing styles I'd say 1820's - 30's would be correct

Confusing searching for this.
Do you not have a title or a title page?

Here's the best I could find:

Similar cover, but illustrations not in color:

This page is cool because you can click on the book and go through the whole book, including front and back cover:

(I'd also found an earlier addition, but lost it in the search, also listed as published at 76 Bowery, but a different publisher name. I think it was 1847)

Too tired to continue searching, tonight.
Confusing.
Found a Jonathon Colman and this Pamela Colman both listed in separate listings.
Needs more searching.
