5 boxes of dimes

Did 5 boxes and 100 loose, been a awhile on dimes. Love hate thing for me. I love that they are at least consistent, but hate the size factor vs half's. easy to miss silver on rim check, no way could I date check dimes. Luckily second sound check finds a few the eyes missed. And my 3rd line of defense is my dime dump bank counter rejects silver. I have found an additional 5 dimes on the 3rd line of defense.

Sounds like pretty average returns on boxes. I feel same about dimes - big upside is the consistency of usually getting at least one in a box. I look at mine with a desk lamp that has a 100 watt bulb right over my shoulder - nearly impossible to miss one rim checking with that thing lighting them up.

i always use magnifying glasses of some sort, you can't believe how much more pleasant it is with this geeky hobby.
