Snuck out for an hour tonight, found this nice fish scale about 4 inches deep. Might be my last hunt for 2013, the snow is coming...

Great looking fishie, liking the patina.

That's decent little coin, hard to believe that in a couple of years they will all be over a century old!

Great coin! Hope your able to get out again before the snow

Nice...old Canadian silver is beautiful.

Well, seeing as once freeze-up happens I won't be able to get out for a solid 5 months...I would gladly trade you for the heat, bugs, and mowing the grass lol!

Thanks for the replies everybody.

That is a wonderful find - I may just move way north (Idaho or Montana ) just so I can find old silver Canadian coins , they circulated in
the border states in some numbers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries .

I live right on the border, it's nice to find an even mix of old Canadian and US coinage. It adds an extra dimension of delight...get a nice tone, certain it's a silver dime...is it going to be a Barber or an Edward??

Really nice! Detail is good too.
