My daughter works at a bank and has gotten several $5 silver certificates but I'm not thinking that's one. Not an expert by a long shot.

It's a star note. Look at the serial number. It means this bill is a replacement, IIRC. Gary

My daughters serial number was red and had red as i recall in other places on the bill. Im gonna check with her and try to post a pic.

Then it was a United States Note and not a Silver Certificate.
