I received 2 boxes of pennies from my aunt as a birthday gift last weekend that turned out to be all brand new pennies, so I went to the bank today to exchange them for 2 older boxes. I opened up the first box of pennies and had high expectations because the rolls looked old. Sadly, I was wrong. I think whoever turned them in was also a collector because the box had no coins older than 1959, and many pennies looked dug. I guess they weren't that great at collecting because the box still had copper and Canadians! But the second box had some pretty good finds. I got 10 wheats, mostly 50s and 40s, 3 older Canadians, 1951,1957,1959, and 82 Canadians total including 4 1967 centennials. I also found a 1959d that has a really cool rainbow patena to it that is hard to see from the pics. But my best find of the box was a 1920 s penny, my oldest CRH find to date! Thanks for looking and HH!
