7-28 City finds...key date V

postalgriff · Jul 29, 2012

spent some time yesterday in the city trying to pull some keepers out of some super trashy lots....found a couple nice ones including an 1886 V nickel, worth a few bucks

Also found a pretty nice ring and a 1929 Brittish half penny which is a first for me. Thanks for looking all, HH, Griff

Very nice digs J, ring is sweet and you've found another key date coin. How many key dates can a person dig? Congrats on the city dig my friend!

Nice assortment is a understatement! Looks like you got some sliver spoons along w/ your 18K ring ( hope is gold for you ) and some rare coins which is always a great high. Good Hunting. :icon_thumright:

- interesting large half penny too - never seen one like that before. Sweet ring and other relics too! Did you determine if it were solid or plated? Stone real? WTG
