72 Pennies in one hole

Georges Minelab Safari · Jul 4, 2011

All of these were in one hole. I cant imagine someone carrying around 72 pennies and losing them. I pulled out one and then stuck my propointer in and found another and then 71 more. None of them are old.

Not old, but a fun find anyway!

Mike, I used the Safari with the Joey coil

If anyone is looking for a smaller coil, see Mike from Woodland (above). I havent taken the Joey off since I put it on.

Nice find. I was searching at a buddies house and he is in a cabin build 100 years ago and I found a bunch of pennies as well. As I got to digging I found that there was aquarium rock and figured that is where the aquarium got dumped when they were done with it. I hit that place hard for a few days and didnt find anything and I think I rushed it a bit since I had limited time. He was selling the place and a few days after I got permission the place closed Too bad I didnt meet this friend earlier!
