Hi Fog; It is a Continental Army 7th Infantry Button dating to 1776. It is from Massachusetts. The 7th Regiment was known as Aldens Regiment after Ichabod Alden ok. It was later Incorporated into the main Continental Army. Grade: Good Value : up to $50 due to Condition.

There was also a Virginian Continental Army 7th Regiment. Colonel Willian DangerField was its Commander.

Hi Fog; You should think about joining a Club like the MA Treasure Hnting Association ok. The link is masstreasure.com ok. Turn your eyes to farm fields. They are gold mines especially after they have been plowed in September - October ok. They are usually overgrown with grass during the summer months ok. PEACE:RONB

Thanks for the info barker, its was recovered in MA. I love swinging farm fields, problem always involves getting permission. I will check out the MA treasure hunting assoc. HH.
