It's been awhile but went back to one of my quartz sites. I would've taken insitu's but I'm not allowed to take pictures or videos on this property (definitely not going to argue). Also found some not from quartz, rare for this area but it happens

Thanks TN, I agree. I have found a few (Morrow Mountain style) in that area. For some reason I can't find them in S. GA or Ala.

I'm in western NC about 25 miles from SC line. I have a few pieces of pottery but only one that is as thick as #3. It's almost white. I'll try to round it up and put a pic on here. About 1/3 of everything I find is morrow mt and about 2/3 of everything I find is quartz. Great finds! From the pics of points and locations being shared in this 3 or 4 state area you may be able to look at old maps with the locations of different tribes and be able to understand more about who made them. The middle one in number 3 may be a guilford. Those are very common up here also.

Thanks for checking them out Dave

Great points in that show! Some of the best pictures too!
Couldn?t help noticing the many stemmed types with concave bases. Guilford, Kirk Stemmed, Savannah River, all guesses. So many points in your region have that variant.
Another interesting post!
