Hit a festival site in off-season again today with Jeff and BedPanMoney. We did great. Spent 5 hrs only left when rain started. Lots of clad and some interesting finds.

I found my first Susan B Anthony dollar. My M-6 said it was a quarter but higher VDI numbers.

Also found two bells--silver and brass. Brass one still has ball inside. Shown with dime for size.

Coin total today--88--a record for me: $10.55
1 - Susan B - Dollar
28 - Qtrs
34 - Pennies
1 - Canadian Penny
4 - Nickels
20 - Dimes

Several quarters from Hay area. Kids roll around drop coins-YES!

Nice site! There is one in Colorado that I want to hunt one day. I lost my class ring there. That straw is from a Jacobs ladder game, there is a rope with rungs, and you have to climb it and ring a bell.
Here is a pic. I have tried it a few times, never rang that stupid bell. Did you find the bell under the straw too?

Thanks, I agree with your guess at the game in the hay. I will check closer next time. The bell is very small-dime sized. It was found in a different area 3" deep.
