9 Silvers at the Boy Scout Camp Hunt

Hello Everyone,

My Daughter and I attended our Fall Club Hunt/cookout at a local Boy Scout Camp. The weather was great, food was delicious and the finds were plentiful. My daughter beat me in the clad shooting using her X-Terra 705 and me swinging the Explorer SE wide open.

The finds:

2- Dollar coins, 64- Quarters, 21-Nickels, 85-dimes and 111 cents

9 silver coins, jewelry bracelet, cows and the usual cool Boy Scout stuff.

Total coins for the day = 292

sounds like no one has ever metal detected the sight before before. how lucky can ya get. unlike me ! now i have to wonder in the second picture the lower left pin what are they referred to ? and is there way to tell the age ? and are they of any value ? i think i have about 8 maybe 10 of these i've found over time. they did'nt come from boy scout camps but from parks. not all exactly the same but the same shape ? make me wunder if ther was anything deeper that you missed ? thanks

Hello Nomad 11,

One appears to be a Cub Scout holder the other is a belt clip?. I believe this place has not been hunted or at least not very well. I truly believe there is a "ton" of silver in a few of the locations. Unfortunately, we have to wait for next year to hunt it again.
