#98 ring for the year , Goal is 100!

Hey everyone ,
Well I hunted a park and a school this morning hoping to get one step closer to my goal of 100 rings for the year ! I found #98 today at a local school , it was just sitting in the grass waiting for me to show up . It's not a great ring but I will take it . I have decided to bring my camera and take pictures of my good finds as I dig them . I also found a 1968 Canadian penny , Golfland token and $8.58 in clad . I am hunting an older school and park tomorrow , maybe it will be a two ring day.

It was just like that . I didn't see it till my M6 went over it .

On the positive side, you didn't have to dig 10 inches to find it!

Here is the break down: .925 silver (45) , Gold (6) , Plated Gold (6) , other ,copper , nickel , aluminum and just plain junk (41). All rings were found in the turf .

Congrats... Looks like you will have no problem making that goal of 100 at this rate. Let's hope number 100 is platinum and loaded with stones

Well I found #99 yesterday ! Nothing special , looks like it was plated at one time . Also found a 1946 Wheat One more to go , I just hope it's silver or gold !
