Watched a doco on that thing recently. A plane built around a gun they described it as. Awesome machine.

I'd often see those flying around in the later 1990s when I was visiting the copper mines in around Tucson, AZ. I'd be thinking they would be an excellent aircraft to be fixed up to extinguish small start up forest fires in mountainous terrains.
