I’m sorry to say but, it’s probably only worth about face value in that condition.

I don't think the government would pay anything for it, I would have to agree with one cent in that condition.

I have a full roll of them uncirculated. I tried to sell them on Ebay a P & D mint for $4.00 but didn't sell one.

Did you dig it outta the ground? I have dug three but non of them have any detail. The only way I knew they were steel 43's is they were stuck to other 40's wheaties.
That one might be hard to spend as a penny.

I agree with Jeff you dont see the many more even though they made alot of them I treasure the one I found..
