Just wanted to take a minute to thank the many readers that stopped in to read posts on my Bedrock and Gold: The Mysteries thread https://www.treasurenet.com/threads/bedrock-and-gold-the-mysteries.69/ on the Metal Detecting for Gold forum.

I am so grateful so many of you took the time to take a look. What an honour it is to have earned your trust.

I have been gone for far too long from this forum, but so happy to see it's still running, and I have a few new stories to share about recent detecting adventures.

Thanks so much for dropping in, and all the best,

Lanny

In case you're wondering, I mostly chase the nuggets in British Columbia, but for the past few years, I've chased the gold in the Nevada desert as well during the late fall to early spring season.

My son joins me on the nugget-shooting outings, and he's at the point now where he out-detects me in finds, something that makes me proud of what he's accomplishing.

Is there any better feeling as a father?
(He's also joined me in the Nevada desert hunting the gold.)

I'm always glad to answer questions about nugget hunting with metal detectors, as well as general prospecting questions.

Moreover, I've created a few threads on the prospecting forum to help beginners learn tips and tricks to capture that sassy gold.

All the best,

Lanny
