Its a strange one, I think its more like someones collection that has been robbed & buried, I just don't think it was a cache as such. Unless of course it was found in a protective container?
Have you more details to share about how it was found?

Is that a full size crown ? If so have you had it appraised and dated ? I have to say that is some unique finds ,to find all that in one spot would love to here more of the story and some history of the area .

I found this on a vacant lot next to an old road. I was walking back to my truck to leave when I got a good signal about 10 feet from my truck. I dug down about 7- 8" and saw the top of the crown and slowly dug it from the ground. After digging it up I ran the Cz70 back across the hole and got another loud signal and dug down a little deeper and all the crosses and medallions were just piled on top of one another. It started raining so I just started dumping handfuls of dirt in the bed of my truck till the rain caused me to fill the hole and leave. When I got back to the house I looked in the bed of my truck and crosses and medallions were laying scattered everywhere. I couldn't go back for a few days and when I did I found the hole just the way I left it and I recoverd rest of the relics.

There once was an old house on the property. I was told it was built in the early 1800s it burned down some time ago. I also found an 1847 big penny and 1922 silver dollar on the property before finding the religious artifacts.

The penny and silver dollar were found a couple of years before. I've hunted the lot numerous times before finding the religious cache. The cache was within 3 ft of a telephone pole.

Some silver some gold and some brass with silver plating.

It's an awesome find but if I found it I might be a little weirded out just by the amount of crosses. It would be a fun research project though.
