Funny thing about it my buddy Ed(upstate) and I were just talking about with all the nickels we find why aren't we finding more gold no more then three minutes later the first plug I dig BAM a gold ring sitting at the bottom of the plug it was a classic nickel signal I called Ed over and showed him what I found we just busted out laughing it looks to be a signet ring 10K with a small stone also three wheats.... Excellent find on the gold ring. Congratulations.

Congrats on the gold ring. Digging nickel signals does payoff. Glad you got some gold.

Excellent point, George. Heck, I even dig the penny signals.......they have resulted in a lot of dimes and silver rings, plus, a Union Civil War token dated 1863!

Nice finds thanks for sharing.

Nickel signals always get me excited...most times its a nickel but as you know, sometimes its that beautiful yellow metal...congrats on the gold.

Park Pirate that's a nice December bonus find here in Ny.

Nice surprise in the hole

That is one sweet ring ! Congrats

love the nickel signals!

The letter looks like an "N" for Nickel. It's probably an "H" but it's cool it looks like an N for that nickel signal!
Congratulations on an awesome find!
