A couple of "Classics"
I have been trying to get one hunt a week in if I can and here are my meager finds from the last two hunts. Most of the time was spent battling greenbriars and not swingin! The soil in those areas have not been kind to my copper finds lately, time to find some sugar sand sites again.
The 1808 Classic Head was nice to find since it was found at a secondary backup site, the one I got my 1793 Flowing Hair LC at and the Union Greens button. I was pleasantly surprised to get a large button and a flattie I missed in previous hunts and the 1808 was a gravy find.

Today I went to the same area but this homestead I call the "Greenbriar" site. My legs are torn to shreds and I wear protective pants and still get nailed! I managed to squeeze from this site a 1835 Classichead Half Cent, a possible knee buckle and one small flattie button.

Did pick off the first tick of the year from my clothes, which is surprising, since it has been so warm lately I expected a lot more than just one.
My son just emailed me, he got in a quick hunt on his way home from work and his T2 came thru for him again at a pounded site, he got a worn down William III Halfpenny and on Saturday, while hunting at a millsite near our house that we have pounded for over 20 years, he found a 1907 Barber dime on the surface!.
