A Few Alabama Finds~ Bullets, Token, POD Button

Nana40 · Nov 19, 2011

After seeing all these amazing finds posted up this morning, I kinda feel bad for taking up space to post mine. :P Seems we haven't been hunting as much as usual, but still absolutely love the time spent detecting when I do get the opportunity go.
I hunted with the Cullman gang one Sunday afternoon and the other two hunts my buddy Lisa and I went out. It's been a bit chilly at night but the days warm up enough to make one a bit ancy about moving back all those leaves in the woods. :-X

Let's hope the snakes are gone! :icon_pirat:

While out hunting with the Cullman gang, Charlie was out with the camera....

I attached this pic for NC relic hunting buddies....

And here's my finds.....

Always a thrill to dig up the CW relics....

I don't know about the piece on the right in the pic. Keeper or no? :dontknow:

I hated to throw it out without knowing...

Have a great weekend! I look forward to dinner with some of my hunting buddies this evening. Wish you were here, WSD!

Great post, Nana! I like the POD and the duck button. The duck looks like it might be a Jacksonian Button, depending on what the back looks like.

Cheers,

Thanks, Breezie! You too! Hope you get all your construction done before the weekend! :icon_thumright:

Turtleman rules, MM! .....Even if it did take you two days to figure it out.

That's OK tho...when was it the War of 1812 started? :laughing7:

Thanks, Mr. T :hello:

Thanks BB! I could only wish for that button to be a Jacksonian. $:-\$ I'm thinking it's later...late 1800's later. Hope all is going well for you! :hello:
