a few finds at 1890 farm house

[mapper123]

I have found a few items of interest to me & could use a little feedback as most are not marked as to material. I did find a lot heavy iron (plows & such) that I will not bore you with.

Wonder how a George VI Australian Penny got there? It always amazes me what pops out of the ground.

The stone in the ring is cat's eye, is that buckle thingy silver?

Coinman123,

I like the Roosevelt election token a lot. Very nice find.

Nice array of finds! That belt buckle is probably silver. Congrats!

It may help others like me, if you post pics of plow parts once in a while, so we know what they look like if we run across any.

underminer: I was surprised with the Aussie coin as well....probably brought back by a WWII vet
Coinman 123: thanks for the cats eye ID.....not sure if the buckle is silver or not, it not marked
beez0404: the political token is my favorite as well....I am an independent, so not aligned with either party
Msbeepbeep; I will post typical farm finds to day....they not from this site, but typical for the farms in this area.

You have all kinds of neat things in there, the political token, is the fifth one a buckle or container? The buckle above it is neat.
I have found maybe 8 or 9 foreign coins so far here in Maryland, and one of them was an Australian Penny from 1934 I think.
Very cool, way to dodge the iron for the goodies.

Great finds! What is the silver toned marine corps item?

[wv hilljack]

Awesome finds. I like all of them.

[Subterranean]

Man what a great haul, congrats. The carved stone ring is gold, correct? Keep digging that honey hole! Sub

[dirtlooter]

pretty interesting finds, the ring looks gold

[mapper123]

Thanks to all who replied & JasonInEdid ....I don't think that has anything to do with the Marines or is very poorly done .......probably just a decoration of some sort.

Just wondering, I never seen anything else use the Eagle/Globe and anchor symbol like that except for the marine corps.

[Shelbe Star]

I know the stone to your ring to be Tiger's Eye, a semi precious stone. Fun finds!

[Cool Hand Fluke]

That reverse of the token really cracks me up...."Republican Depression Coin, No Value"..... Owner must have been a democrat!
