A few finds from the weekend

Was up in North central WI again over the weekend and found some more interesting (to me at least) rocks. Here's some pics. I think the first one is quartz with some iron staining but don't know what the black veins are, the second almost looks like a fossil but I don't think it is, prob quartz, and third is a colorful sediment rock of some kind. All were found in a wooded area near a small river/large stream that has abundant glacial til stones.

The first one(s) is milky quartz with probably biotite mica (black veins)
3 & 4 look like quartz/chalcedony veins with eroded/oxidized iron or limonite
5 & 6 are quartzite metamorphosed from just as you said, sedimentary sandstone
