Hello all,,,
I went back to the cache site for a few hours today. I know, I know,, I said I was going to lay off of it for a while, but it's close by and I am low on gas for the week... Anyway, found a few older item of enterest as I am digging all the pull-tab signals in hopes of the GOLD... First pocket knife I ever found giving a reading as a pull-tab,, kinda strange... I'm hoping someone can tell me what kind it is, and maybe a date for it. It has what looks like a medevil axe for an emblem, and although it looks like real wood on the side, it seem to be made of some type of plastic.

Also found some type of decorative brass piece with about a 1/4 inch threaded stud on the back, not a clue what it was used for?,,, an old two piece button, again no clue... And another old brass drawer pull, I think...

Last item I though I would throw in is my newest odd ball pull-tab. It looks like it use to go all the way around the lid of something. I've never seen one like it before. so I'm adding it to my collection of oddball pull-tabs :)

Hope all is well, and everyone is having some luck...
Happy hunting~

P.S.> I dug a lot of pull-tabs, not shown,, but still no GOLD... :'(
Also, another pic of the studed brass piece, and the drawer pull?

Even the knife looks Scottish - with the broad axe on it. Was this area the former site of some Celtic Games (and I don't mean basketball) or something? Maybe a Scottish Rite site? Are there lots of Scots descendents living in the area?

Cool stuff. I agree with you about the brass drawer pull, provided it's threaded on the inside.

I looked through my entire Levins guide to Knives and there values and couldent find that type shield on any of them Very intresting, that is likly a rare shield but I dont know.
