Not a really good hunt, was only able to get out for an hour maybe. Too much work to do and so little time. Anyway, the thing that I am most interested in knowing about is the bead looking item. It is hard like glass, perhaps it is bone or shell?? I really don't know. It is smooth and domed on one side and flat and a little rough on the other(not shown). Found it by a river. Any ideas? Ugh, nonetheless, time is slipping away and I am getting desperate to hunt as much as I can. GL & HH!

@deepsecrets, I have seen these called 'cushion' and 'coin' sinkers too. Never seen one before. @willie d, thanks for that link...so, seems the button is old. It was actually a surface find on a trail going down to a river. I think all along the river for well over 100 years people have thrown their trash and whatever else(before regulated dumps). In fact, a year or so ago there was an archaeological group excavating on several sites along the river, to study the remains people have been leaving behind...but they also found a Clovis point which was a little unexpected. :O
