A find of a lifetime coin !!!

[DDEXPII]

Let get right to it ! It is a Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar that was handcarved it to a love tonken
I found this sweet thing on Saturday when I went to a hot spot.
Allday I was hoping for the elusive IH one coin that is not to hard to find but I never found one!!
But all I get is this love tonken LOL... This is my very best find.

Thanks DEEPDIGGEREXPII

Killer find DeepDigger!

Dude, Minelab strikes again

I forgot to ask OutRaged... but did anybody dig an IH that day?

The day before I dug my first Seated coin there which was also my first 1800's silver!

I kept swingin' for a awhile after that find just beggin' for an IH, but to no avail

It looks like your coin was worn as pin judging by those dark spots...

Once again congrats on recovering a beautiful and unique peice of history!

I wouldn't call it a "Find of a Lifetime" just yet. That site has yielded some other great coins, so keep scanning. You can top it!

Many years ago, right after I found my love token in the 90's our local metal detecting club SJMDC had as its speaker the author of a Love Tokens book and he impressed us with a great slide show of different Love Tokens and his display of his personal collection.

Here is the website of the Love Token Society.

[Michigan Badger]

I just luv love tokens!

Years ago I bought one from someone who had dug it up at an ancient Roman site.

It was really cool and I sold it on ebay. The man who won the bid gave it to his wife.

That love token (like yours) was extra unique.

Great find...congrats.
