Check your countys web site and see if they have a assessment page. You might be able to find the dates of that house.
Also i noticed too at this old house ive been working on that the more i go over the same area the older it gets. Its almost like im pulling layers off.
It's funny but I just recently had a similar experience. I mean a building I thought was really old but it wasn't.
I was down in southern Michigan and we stopped into a car dealership to chat with a buddy.
I happened to mention a very old building in town and he laughed and told me it was only about 30 years old. The people who built it made it to look old. But then they moved out and it's been vacant ever since.
But to look at that place I'd swear it was at least 150 years old.
