I agree...I've seen employees check the coinstars...alot of competition...

I haven't had any recent luck at the local coinstar. The last good thing I got was a Mercury dime and before that, I got a 1909 VDB cent that is in reasonable good condition. Never know though,,

Those are great finds...I've been searching for coinstar jobs ( travel services rep)but they are sparse....I would love to have access to the inside of those machines...

Any coins from a coinstar these days are good coins. Most of those trays are typically empty, (at least in my area).
