A Little Clad, A Kid's Ring, A Key And A U.S. Pin
Hi all,
I had a couple hours today before we're supposed to get some more weather, so I detected the muddy field of a local park..the snow/sleet is just about melted off and it's overcast and 40 degrees so I figured what the heck, I could get my fix today.
The targets were few and far between, but I managed a key and a few dollars in clad while hoping for that big ring to pop out, but again, not today.
It started to shower so I decided to leave..when I got home it stopped, so I went across the street to the neighbor's yard for another 20 minutes or so to check the ground I hunted last fall..came up with an old aluminum child's ring I missed and a US pin, kinda cool..the neat thing is that both of the backs were still attached, so it must have been dropped and wasn't worn on a shirt when it was lost. I found a couple of different pins some time ago that were also found the same way - with the backs still on the pin.
The coming week will be cold near St. Louie but the weekend is looking good with temps in the 50's, so hopefully the conditions will be better.
