I took a vacation day yesterday to hunt a promising looking spot at the lake. The water was down about four feet from summer level and left plenty of mud to wallow in, lol... The swimming area has one of those floating pipes that marks the boundary of it. I had been there about 10 minutes when I got a solid nickel signal so I stuck my knife point in the mud to flip out the pull tab that I knew was going to be there and got quite a surprise when the 14K wedding band rolled out. It has notches in it that must be for an engagement ring to fit but it was not to be found. I found another wedding band that doesn't have any visible marks and it may be stainless steel. I got a 1916 wheat cent and a bunch of other goodies and had a whopping good time at it. Happy hunting to all.
