Hi Guys & Girls

I have had these bits in Almond oil for a couple of weeks,
The Buckle has 2 Lions heads on it but I have no ideia what the other objects are, a little help please....

looks like a civil war ringtail sharps bullet shaped thimble...not sure of the metal bars

Thanks for the reply, It was found in Portugal I detect between Portugal & England, I have had many medieval finds from the same spot if that helps put it in to context.

Yes to the first two, the last items could also be Roman Medical implements.

That is a thimble and a old one at that. I hunt antiques and old gold, silver and enamel thimbles are one of the things I pick up as they sell so well. Last ones I sold went to south France to a gal who collected them. You will find some thimble collector websites that may give you the information on the one you found. To me it looks very old and could be worth some good money, even in the condition it is? You sure do have some nice finds to boast about. I enjoy seeing the finds of the old country. Thanks!
