I am looking for any info on this bar token I found 15 years ago in Illinois, with a Garrett Freedom Ace, 8" deep near an old home site. It is 1 1/4" x 1/16" and made of brass I think. Thank You for any info...

According to Google Maps, the address on your token is now under a bridge on an Interstate highway. There was a Log Cabin Bar (recently closed) located in Turlock, CA, which is fairly close to Modesto.

Neat find :)

Well Thank You, I didn't think to google map it. I was hoping some token guys would know the value of it to... that would be a great spot to check for any CA guys.

This brass one is not listed in Kappen's CA token catalogs - just the plastic one as shown on TokenCatalog.com The reverse design is typical of the product of the Meyer & Wenthe company of Chicago and was popular in the decades after WWII. The 1960 Modesto, CA City Directory lists Log Cabin Tavern - Orrin Lemmons & Clarence B. Cochran - 3840 Atchison. Wrong address, and that is the latest year I have access to. Earlier ones I spot-checked don't show anything at that address or by that name. It would be great if you would post your pics to tokencatalog, or, with permission, I can do it.
