The water sports at my favorite hunting places still haven't gotten back to normal activity since the huge ash spill. I did manage to find $1.80 in change and a small sterling cross. I hope the lake goes down some more so there will be more room along the banks. It's the same place that I found the bullet mold and no date buffalo. I found lots of square nails and two horse shoe halves. There has to be an old house site there somewhere but with my luck it is under water. I hoped for a better day but I had fun and did find a little treasure. Happy hunting to all.

Nice haul.

One thing gives me the shivers though. Seeing swimming hole it the topic and seeing that hook in your finds.
Good on you getting it out of there. :icon_thumright:

I also found about 9 broken bottles and another large rusty hook used for bass fishing. It does take a bit of extra work to collect all of the dangerous stuff . When I think about stepping on that broke bottle in the water and slicing the back of my heel off when I was a kid it makes the extra work worth it. Might just keep some kid from having to get stitches and a tetanus shot. Have a great night.

Goos luck and nice finds.
