F70 / ACE 250
I got my Ace 250 a couple of months ago and have only been detecting since the beginning of June. The after several dollars of clad I pulled my first silver 1952d Rosie, then a couple of days later I pulled up the 1916 wheatie. Last night I was at it again in my front yard when I pulled the 1919 wheatie then my first Indian head and first coin to break the 1900's. I ran inside doing a happy dance and oddly enough the wife wasn't very impressed with my dirty little coins! Oh well I think she wants some jewelry. Well hope you all enjoy the pics, I know I enjoy yours and they keep me motivated to keep on digging. HH, Josh.

Those are some nice looking coins you got there. It looks like your off to a great start. Just wait till you bring home some gold and she should be more impressed. Good Luck and HH.

Thanx for all of the replies. I had been lurking for awhile but decided to dig out the camera and post some pics. That Indian head got me excited, especially when I found out it was worth 400X FACE VALUE!!!

Nice packfan, to bad your not here in NC to help us find the oldies.

Welcome to posting and nice finds!!

I found my first (and only) IH in NE, and it's in sorry shape. Yours looks great. Those teen wheats are nice to find also. Sounds like you've got a great yard to hunt!

Welcome to TNet! Nice going finding the coins, especially the IH..you'll remember that hunt for quite some time.

Good hunting, I can still remember my first silver, and first Indie, took a lot longer than it took you to getum. Keep it up!

Those are some fantastic finds my friend! I know it feels good getting that wonder out of your mind if you'll ever find anything old or valuable. Smooth sailing now. Don't worry about the wife, she'll come around eventually. Private property is second to none! I've said that again and again. Again, nice digs man and I think this Sunday the 27th we're planning to hit it again, not sure where yet. Let me know if you're free and I shall do my best to make it. TC&HH, JJ

"WELCOME" and nice finds! Got a 250 myself and learning it's full capacity. Love the IHC

Those dirty little coins look great to me. The wheats and IH are in super shape. Congratulations. It took me at least a year before I found my first Indian Head.

To impress the wife you have to fabricate tales of yesteryear and who might have had the coins, how they were lost etc. You might also try a numasistic approach or maybe just tell her you are out getting exercise. ;D

Congrats on the great finds.

The wife might think more of your finds, if she was digging them! There are some great old parks in Omaha, and you should end up finding many more in the future. Keep at it.

Very nice job on the silver and wheaties! You are farther then me! I have gotten a wheatie but no silver yet. Keep on hunting and trying for the gold!
