A nice .925 silver ring and 987 fishing weights!!!

OK, I'm exaggerating a little about the number of weights, but it would have been nice if it were the other way around!

I met up with TC (Texan Connection) at a local "desert" lake today where the water was way, way down. We didn't even get close to it, just searched the dry area.

I couldn't get the pic to show it, but the ring has 5 very brilliant stones. I know they can't be diamonds but they sure are fiery! It is marked .925 OGC and weighs 6.8 grams.

Anybody want some sinkers? :laughing9:

After this summer I have about 1/2 a 5 gallon bucket of lead. we got to where we contest over the biggest weight... red wins by far.

The tops my 2 ring finds this weekend

If I lived close enough I would buy the weights from you. A guy at our gun club has a litten shot maker. With such a rise in lead prices you might be able to sell them at a near by gun club. $0.50-$1.00 per pound.

I only got about 50 lbs of lead sinkers,duck weights,and net weights this year. that anchor put you over the top. nice ring though.

Thanks! The way I look at it, just going to a spot where there is potential to find something special is worth it.....it's the thrill of the hunt you know. :thumbsup:

don't be too quick to write those stones off as CZ's. since gold is so high these days, silver is gaining popularity since it is still affordable, and many silver rings have genuine diamonds now.... for the most part, they are usually a low quality stones, but genuine none the less. if they are really nice looking, chances are they are fake, but I'm just saying that just because it's a silver ring doesn't always mean it has fake stones.

I am glad you posted jewelerguy. These stones reflect the most beautiful colors like a prism! My wife says they are prettier than her diamond solitare wedding ring! I have seen many CZ's before but none like these.
