I did a three hour hunt on Easter Sunday and dug 31 clad coins worth $6.11, a rabies vaccination dog tag, plus a pair of silver dimes....a 1948-D Roosevelt and a 1923 Mercury. The Mercury has seen a lot of use and is wafer thin.

Nice job on the silver dimes Im happy when I find 1 silver its been many hunts since I have Looks like you had a great day. Keep em coming and stay safe out there.* * *Tommy
Thanks Tommy.....you stay safe too.

Congrats on the silver and your are crushing them quarter!
Thanks BLK HOLE.....The quarter total was a good thing and it was sure nice only digging one penny.

Nice finds! it seems like those mercs don't hold up well, for some reason. I wonder if it's something about the alloy they used in them?

Nice digs :) Glad you got to hunt some Congrats :icon_thumleft:
Thank you.....

Thanks Jim.....the alloy in Mercs is the same as in other silver coins, it's just that Mercs circulated longer than silver Roosevelts. Older Mercs are usually pretty well worn down.

A good use of time and you found silver!
Thanks.....the silver was the frosting on the cake.

Unique, very nice finds!

Score! Nice going on the double silver day.

Thank you...….multiple silver days are few and far between these days so this was a nice feeling of satisfaction.
