A park, 1950's house and a couple firsts

Hey everyone. Looks like lots of people are finding lots of good things. Hopefully things will slow down for me and I'll get some time to congratulate people on there finds, instead of just looking.

I had the chance to go to a park near my place. The area I searched was about 35ft by 35ft. I thought it produced really well. Theres another section that's about 150ft by 60ft, cant wait to go back. Here's what I got in the smaller section.







The coins on the left are the oldest coins found. I thought it was kind of cool finding some wheat's in an Ontario park. I also found my first silver coin and rings there. The larger ring is a Harley Davidson ring.

I also detected my friends property. The house was built in 1955. Here's what I got.





Again the older ones are on the left. Also surprised to find a wheat there as well. I have to look into the 1945 Canadian penny, it might be worth something according to a web site I went to.

Way to go Coolio! I don't know why we bother having different money. I find Canadian coins around here all the time; if you are just spending them no one bothers with the exchange rate, as long as we don't spend the dollar coins. Quarters and below everyone treats them the same as USA money. Congrats on the silver...very cool rings.

Just a tip: Keep your light source in front of you when taking your pictures so that you don't end up with the shadows of your camera obscuring your photos.
